Skovbakken Bears was one of 39 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during BMS Herlev Cup 2020. They participated with 5 teams in Boys U13 2008/09, Boys U15 2006/07 Invitational, Boys U19 2002/03 Invitational, Girls U15 2006/07 Invitational and Boys U17 2004/05 Invitational respectively. The team in Boys U19 2002/03 Invitational made it to the the Placeringskamp 5.-6. plads in A-slutspil, but lost it against AJAX København Basketball by 61-71.
In addition to this, Skovbakken Bears have participated in BMS Herlev Cup before. During BMS Herlev Cup 2019, Skovbakken Bears had two teams playing in Boys U13 2007 and Boys U17 2003/04 Invitational respectively. The team in Boys U17 2003/04 Invitational made it to the the Final in A-slutspil, but lost it against BMS Herlev by 63-64. Skovbakken Bears comes from Risskov which lies approximately 150 km from Herlev, where BMS Herlev Cup takes place. The area around Risskov does also provide three additional clubs participating during BMS Herlev Cup 2020 (Åbyhøj, Aabyhøj and Aabyhøj Basketball).
