In addition to Malbas, 11 other teams played in Boys U17 2008/09 Invitational. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Malbas orange could be found in Group A together with BMS Herlev, Harlev basket and Virum Basketballklub.
Malbas orange made it to A-slutspil after reaching 1:st place in Group A. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Bears Academy, which they won with 76-74.
