BK Amager was one of 54 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during BMS Herlev Cup 2024. They participated with two teams in Girls U15 2010/11 - Mester (Elite) and Girls U19 2006/07 Invitational respectively. The team in Girls U15 2010/11 - Mester (Elite) made it to the the Final in A-slutspil, but lost it against Åbyhøj Basket 2010 by 36-38.

In addition to this, BK Amager have participated in BMS Herlev Cup before. During BMS Herlev Cup 2023, Amager had 4 teams playing in Boys U13 2011/12 - Mester (Elite), Boys U17 2007/08 Invitational, Girls U17 2007/08 Invitational and Girls U19 2005/06 Invitational respectively. Two teams played until Final in A-slutspil; Girls U19 2005/06 Invitational won over BMS Herlev by 44-35 but Girls U17 2007/08 Invitational lost against BMS Herlev Hvid by 53-60.

Amager comes from Kastrup which lies approximately 17 km from Herlev, where BMS Herlev Cup takes place. The area around Kastrup does also provide 39 additional clubs participating during BMS Herlev Cup 2024 (Among others: BMS Herlev, ALBA, Værløse Basketball, Glostrup, Malbas, Virum Basketball klub, Stevnsgade D 2012, SISU, Stevnsgade Basketballklub and Hørsholm 79ers).
