Hørsholm 79ers was one of 54 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during BMS Herlev Cup 2024. They participated with 6 teams in Boys U15 2010/11 - Mester (Elite) , Boys U17 2008/09 Invitational, Girls U11 2014/15, Girls U15 2010/11 - Mester (Elite), Boys U13 2012/13 - GP (Not elite) and Girls U13 2012/13 respectively. Three teams played until in Gruppespil; Girls U13 2012/13 P13 lost against Gladsaxe Basketball Klub Lundehus Alliance Danmark Mester by 17-30, Girls U15 2010/11 - Mester (Elite) (P11) lost against Virum Vipers by 24-27 and Boys U17 2008/09 Invitational D09 Sort lost against Bears Academy by 13-70.

In addition to this, Hørsholm 79ers have participated in BMS Herlev Cup before. During BMS Herlev Cup 2023, Hørsholm 79ers had 11 teams playing in Boys U11 2013/14, Boys U13 2011/12 - Mester (Elite), Girls U11 2013/14, Girls U13 2011/12 - Mester (Elite), Girls U17 2007/08 Invitational, Girls U19 2005/06 Invitational and Girls U13 2011/12 - GP (Not Elite) respectively. The team in Girls U17 2007/08 Invitational made it to the the in Gruppespil, but lost it against BMS Herlev Hvid by 53-67.

Hørsholm 79ers comes from Rungsted Kyst which lies approximately 19 km from Herlev, where BMS Herlev Cup takes place. The area around Rungsted Kyst does also provide 36 additional clubs participating during BMS Herlev Cup 2024 (Among others: BMS Herlev, ALBA, Værløse Basketball, Glostrup, Virum Basketball klub, Stevnsgade D 2012, SISU, Stevnsgade Basketballklub, Gladsaxe Basketball Klub and Falcon Basketball).
