Virum Basketball klub was one of 54 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during BMS Herlev Cup 2024. They participated with two teams in Boys U15 2010/11 - Mester (Elite) and Boys U15 2010/11 - GP (Not Elite) respectively. Two teams played until in Gruppespil; Boys U15 2010/11 - Mester (Elite) 2010.1 lost against BKV’81 by 28-40 and Boys U15 2010/11 - GP (Not Elite) 2010.2 lost against Brønshøj Basket sort by 26-39.

In addition to this, Virum Basketball klub have participated in BMS Herlev Cup before. During BMS Herlev Cup 2023, Virum klub had two teams playing in Boys U15 2009/10 - Mester (Elite) and Boys U15 2009/10 - GP (Not Elite) respectively. Two teams played until in Gruppespil; Boys U15 2009/10 - Mester (Elite) Grøn lost against Virum Vipers by 15-66 and Boys U15 2009/10 - GP (Not Elite) Blå lost against Falcon Basketball 1 2010 orange by 17-19.

Virum klub comes from Virum which lies approximately 7 km from Herlev, where BMS Herlev Cup takes place. The area around Virum does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during BMS Herlev Cup 2024 (Among others: BMS Herlev, ALBA, Værløse Basketball, Glostrup, Stevnsgade D 2012, SISU, Stevnsgade Basketballklub, Hørsholm 79ers, Gladsaxe Basketball Klub and Falcon Basketball).
