Gladsaxe Basketball Klub was one of 39 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during BMS Herlev Cup 2020. They participated with 6 teams in Boys U11 2010/11, Boys U13 2008/09, Girls U11 2010/11, Girls U13 2008/09 and Boys U17 2004/05 Invitational respectively. The team in Boys U17 2004/05 Invitational made it to the the Final in A-slutspiland won it over BMS Herlev by 87-61.
In addition to this, Gladsaxe Basketball Klub have participated in BMS Herlev Cup before. During BMS Herlev Cup 2019, Gladsaxe Klub had 4 teams playing in Boys U13 2007, Girls U11 2009/10, Girls U13 2007/08 and Girls U15 2005/06 Invitational respectively. The team in Girls U15 2005/06 Invitational made it to the the 7-8 pladsen in Placeringskampe, but lost it against SISU Sisu by 13-35. Gladsaxe Klub comes from Søborg which lies approximately 4 km from Herlev, where BMS Herlev Cup takes place. The area around Søborg does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during BMS Herlev Cup 2020 (Among others: AJAX København Basketball, Brønshøj Dragons Basketball, Virum Vipers, BMS Herlev, SISU, Glostrup Basketball, Hørsholm 79ers Basketball, ALBA, SISU Basketball and Virum).
