BK Amager was one of 39 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during BMS Herlev Cup 2020. They participated with 7 teams in Boys U11 2010/11, Boys U13 2008/09, Boys U19 2002/03 Invitational, Girls U11 2010/11, Girls U13 2008/09 and Girls U17 2004/05 Invitational respectively. Three teams played until Final in A-slutspil; Girls U11 2010/11 won over Åbyhøj Hvid by 36-6, Girls U13 2008/09 won over BMS Herlev Hvid by 26-15 and Girls U17 2004/05 Invitational lost against BMS Herlev by 34-46.

In addition to this, BK Amager have participated in BMS Herlev Cup before. During BMS Herlev Cup 2019, Amager had 7 teams playing in Boys U11 2009/10, Boys U13 2007, Girls U11 2009/10, Girls U13 2007/08, Girls U15 2005/06 Invitational and Girls U17 2003/04 Invitational respectively. Two teams played until in Gruppespil; Girls U17 2003/04 Invitational lost against SISU Basketball 2004 by 31-34 and Girls U13 2007/08 2 lost against Åbyhøj 07 by 25-31.

Amager comes from Kastrup which lies approximately 17 km from Herlev, where BMS Herlev Cup takes place. The area around Kastrup does also provide 34 additional clubs participating during BMS Herlev Cup 2020 (Among others: AJAX København Basketball, Brønshøj Dragons Basketball, Virum Vipers, BMS Herlev, SISU, Glostrup Basketball, Hørsholm 79ers Basketball, ALBA, SISU Basketball and Virum).
